1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Game Framework ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the Service.

2. Description of Service
Game Framework is a package repository and distribution platform designed for game developers. The Service allows you to:
- Publish and distribute game development packages- Manage package versions and dependencies- Create and manage workspaces for team collaboration- Access packages through our API and CLI tools- Track downloads and usage analytics- Manage team members with role-based access control

3. Account Registration

  • 3.1 Account Creation- You must provide accurate, complete, and current information during registration- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password- You must immediately notify us of any unauthorized use of your account- You must be at least 13 years old to use this Service
  • 3.2 Account Types-
  • Individual Accounts: For personal use and individual developers-
  • Workspace Accounts: For teams and organizations with multiple members

4. Subscription Plans and Billing

  • 4.1 Plan Types
    Free Plan ($0/month)- 5 packages maximum- 10GB storage- 1,000 downloads per month- Community support
    Pro Plan ($29/month + $10/user)- 50 packages- 100GB storage- 100,000 downloads per month- API access- Email support- Advanced analytics
    Enterprise Plan (Graduated pricing)- Unlimited packages and downloads- 1TB+ storage- Priority support- CDN distribution- Custom SLA- SSO/SAML integration
  • 4.2 Payment Terms- Subscription fees are billed in advance on a monthly basis- All fees are non-refundable except as required by law- You authorize us to charge your payment method for all fees- Failure to pay may result in service suspension or termination- Price changes will be notified 30 days in advance.
  • 4.3 Usage Limits- You may not exceed the usage limits of your subscription plan- Operations that exceed limits will return a 402 Payment Required response- You may purchase addons or upgrade your plan to increase limits

5. Package Publishing and Content

  • 5.1 Your Content- You retain all rights to packages and content you publish- You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive license to store, process, and distribute your packages- You are solely responsible for the content you publish- You must not publish content that:- Infringes on intellectual property rights- Contains malware, viruses, or malicious code- Violates any applicable laws or regulations- Harasses, abuses, or harms others
  • 5.2 Content RestrictionsWe reserve the right to remove any content that:- Violates these Terms- Receives valid DMCA takedown notices- Poses security risks to the platform or users- Violates applicable laws or regulations
  • 5.3 Package Versioning- Once published, package versions are immutable- You may deprecate or unpublish packages- Dependencies on your packages may break if you unpublish- We recommend using semantic versioning

6. API Usage and Integration

  • 6.1 API Access- API access requires a valid API key- API keys are tied to your account and should be kept secure- Pro and Enterprise plans include API access- Rate limits apply based on your subscription plan
  • 6.2 API Restrictions- You may not use the API to:- Reverse engineer the Service- Bypass usage limits or billing- Scrape or harvest data in bulk- Interfere with service operation- Resell or redistribute API access
  • 6.3 CLI Tools- Our CLI tools are provided under their respective open-source licenses- You may use CLI tools in accordance with your subscription plan- Automated downloads count toward your usage limits

7. Data and Privacy

  • 7.1 Data CollectionWe collect and process data as described in our Privacy Policy, including:- Account information- Package metadata and files- Usage analytics and download statistics- Billing and payment information
  • 7.2 Data Retention- Active packages are retained indefinitely- Deleted packages are retained for 30 days before permanent deletion- Account data is retained for legal and business purposes- You may request data export or deletion per GDPR rights
  • 7.3 Analytics- We track package downloads and usage metrics- Analytics data may be shared with package publishers- Aggregate, anonymized data may be used for service improvements

8. Intellectual Property

  • 8.1 Our IP- The Game Framework platform, logo, and branding are our property- You may not use our trademarks without permission- Our API documentation and tools are subject to their respective licenses
  • 8.2 Your IP- You retain ownership of your packages and content- Open source packages remain subject to their license terms- Private packages remain your confidential information
  • 8.3 DMCA and Copyright- We comply with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA)- Copyright violation reports should be sent to legal@gameframework.dev- We will remove infringing content and may terminate repeat offenders

9. Service Availability and Support

  • 9.1 Service Level- We strive for 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee availability- Scheduled maintenance will be announced in advance- Emergency maintenance may occur without notice
  • 9.2 Support- Free: Community forum support- Pro: Email support with business-day response- Enterprise: Priority support with dedicated channels
  • 9.3 No WarrantyTHE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.

10. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:- We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages- Our total liability is limited to fees paid in the 12 months prior to the claim- We are not responsible for third-party content or services- You are responsible for backing up your data


11. Prohibited Activities
You may not:- Violate any laws or regulations- Impersonate others or provide false information- Interfere with or disrupt the Service- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems- Use the Service for cryptocurrency mining- Resell the Service without authorization- Share account credentials with others

12. Termination

  • 12.1 By You- You may cancel your subscription at any time- Access continues until the end of your billing period- No refunds for partial periods
  • 12.2 By Us- We may suspend or terminate accounts for Terms violations- We may discontinue the Service with 30 days notice- Termination for cause (violations) is immediate
  • 12.3 Effect of Termination- Your packages will be marked for deletion after 30 days- You may export your data within the 30-day grace period- Outstanding fees remain due

13. Changes to Terms
- We may modify these Terms at any time- Material changes will be notified via email 30 days in advance- Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance- You may terminate if you disagree with changes

14. Dispute Resolution

  • 14.1 Governing LawThese Terms are governed by the laws of [Your Jurisdiction], without regard to conflict of law provisions.
  • 14.2 ArbitrationDisputes will be resolved through binding arbitration, except for:- Small claims court matters- Intellectual property disputes- Injunctive relief
  • 14.3 Class Action WaiverYou agree to resolve disputes individually, not as part of a class action.

15. General Provisions

  • 15.1 Entire AgreementThese Terms, along with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement.
  • 15.2 SeverabilityIf any provision is unenforceable, the remainder remains in effect.
  • 15.3 No WaiverFailure to enforce any right does not waive that right.
  • 15.4 AssignmentYou may not assign these Terms. We may assign to affiliates or acquirers.
  • 15.5 Force MajeureWe are not liable for delays due to circumstances beyond our control.
